Help Survivors Tell Their Story: Donate to IHRDC
Your donation supports our work documenting and pursuing
accountability for human rights abuses in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
These personal observations, distilled from IHRDC interviews with survivors of human rights abuses in the Islamic Republic of Iran, speak to the power of truth and the desire for justice and accountability for unrecorded, or under-recorded, crimes. While the bravery of survivors is essential to bringing these stories to the attention of fellow Iranians and the international community, these courageous individuals also need the resources to speak their truth.
IHRDC staff have conducted hundreds of witness interviews—of former prisoners who suffered brutal torture in custody; of family members who expressed their pain at their loved ones being executed for reasons unknown and the bodies never returned to them; of husbands and wives who spoke of the day their spouse was arrested by the Iranian authorities and never seen again; and of many others. These interviews were then distributed in Persian and English in the form of witness statements, reports, and video to a global audience.
But we cannot do it without your support. No donation is too small.
