(a) the refusal of any legal protectron to the Bahai minority,
(.o) toe summary arrest, netent on and execution of readers of toe Baha
Community,
(c) the confiscation or destruction of t1 je resources and means of
subsistence of the Eahai and the arbitrary dismissals or refusals
to employ Eahais,
(d) the threats and acts of violence against the Bahais in an attempt
to roree them to reDuc.rate tnerr faito,

n Iran, more particularly the member of the Bahai faith whose rights
as a re rg1ous mlnority are not recognized by the Iran an Coflstltution;
2. Calls upon the Government of Iran to grant the Bahai community the
legal recognition and protection to which all minorities are entitled
unoer toe rrovisions or toe varlous UN pacts anG conventions on
human rights
3, Al ;o condemns the illegal measures taken against Catholic and Anglican

4. Calls uaon the Foreign rnisters of the European Communities meeting

and enjoy all civil, political, social, economic and cultural rights;
5. Instructs its President to forward this resOlution to the Foreign Ministers
meeting 10 political cooperation, to the Government of Iran, to the
governments anä parliaments of the Member States and to the Secretary—
General of the nit d Nations,
All the evidence suogests that the arrests and executions of the Bahais
are contInuIng to increase and are being carried out according to a
pre—arranged pian, Only a speedy response by the European Parliament
