Subject: The need for a person to strengthen his body and soul; the necessity of protecting the honor of Islam and Iran
Audience: Members of the Karate Association of Iran
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful May God give success to everybody. May He grant you physical and spiritual strength. Our country needs spiritual as well as physical strength at present. I hope that you will strengthen yourselves in both respects: the spiritual and the physical. Strengthening yourselves spiritually lies in your thinking of God to a great extent. You should rely on the eternal power of God, the Exalted, and your views should be divine. You ought to obey God’s commands, and be devoted to Islam in body and soul. All the people should be devoted to Islam, and I hope that under its refuge, everybody becomes stronger and more powerful. May you bring honor to the country, God willing, and make it famous everywhere because of this movement, with everyone looking upon it with deference. The essential thing is for us to safeguard this respect from now on by observing Islamic ethics and etiquette so that this strength and power are used in the appropriate place, God willing, and this Islamic movement reaches fruition. May God make you prosperous in this world and the hereafter, God willing.

انشاء الله كه خداوند همه را توفيق بدهد، و قدرت شما را هم قدرت جسمي و هم قدرت روحي عنايت كند.
الان مملكت ما احتياج به قدرت روحي دارد، و هم احتياج به قدرت جسمي و اميدوارم كه شما در هر دو مرتبه، هم در جانب روح و هم در جانب جسم، خودتان را تقويت كنيد و تقويت در جانب روح به اين است كه توجهتان به خداي تبارك و تعالي زياد باشد، اتكايتان به قدرت لايزال حق تعالي باشد، و نظرتان نظر الهي باشد و تبعيت از احكام خدا بكنيد، و در جسم و جان هر دو فداكار اسلام باشيد و همه فداكار اسلام باشيم و من اميدوارم كه در پناه اسلام همه قدرتها، همه قوه ها قدرتمندتر بشوند، قوتدارتر بشوند و شماها انشاء الله براي مملكت، آبرومندي تهيه كنيد و مملكت ما را معروف كنيد در همه جا، چنانكه در اين نهضت بحمدالله همه جا معروف شد و همه با چشم احترام به اين ملت نگاه ميكنند و عمده اين است كه از اين به بعد هم ما اين احترام را حفظ بكنيم به اينكه همه با اخلاق اسلامي و با آداب اسلامي باشيم، تا انشاء الله اين قدرت و اين قوه در جاي خودش خرج بشود و نهضت اسلامي ما به ثمر برسد.
