Interactive Map of Executions in the Islamic Republic of Iran

(September 12, 2013) –  The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC) has partnered up with Nabz-Iran to create an interactive map of executions in the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI).  The map, which was built by Nabz-Iran developers, uses IHRDC’s reports and execution data to provide information about individual executions including the province, city/town and date of the occurrence, the status of the execution (whether it has been officially verified or not) and the category of violations within which the execution falls under (e.g. denial of fair trial, extrajudicial killing, arbitrary or unlawful deprivation of life).
