THE PARIS OFFICE OF THE PEOPLE'S MOJAHEDIN HAS TODAY RECEIVED THE FOL-
LOWING PRESS RELEASE BY THE IRANIAN CHARGE D'AFFAIRES IN OSLO, NORWAY
WHICH IS PRESENTED HERE:

Denunciation of the' Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Iran in Oslo
against the terror regime of Khomeini and his joining to the People's
Mojahedin of Iran and the National Council of Resistance.
A) I, Parviz Khazaii, Chargé d'Affaires of Iran in Oslo hereby
declare detestation against the anti—human regime of Khomeini and quit
today the Embassy of this regime in response to the message of Massoud
Rajavi, the leader ofthe People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran and
the person responsible for the National Council of Resistance, which
is the sole democratic alternative to the usurpant, medieval regime of
Khomeini, the regime which caused:
1— The total confiscation and diversion of the just
revolution of the people of Iran which was to bring about
democracy, freedom and independence to Iran after the
tyrannical and corrupt regime of Pahlavi.
2— Sutnnary trial and mass execution of 20,000 people and the
detention of 50,000 political prisoners including children,
pregnant women, civil and military - servants, medical
doctors, workers, and even wounded detainees.
3— The imposition and continuation, despite all the
international efforts for a just peace, of an unwanted war,
a war which already caused 200,000 lives, same amount of
wounded and invalids, millions of homeless refugees, and
billions in material losses.
4— The total ban on freedom of press,. speech, expression,
religion, and culture.
5— The creation of a policy totally based on vandalism, and
international tension and adventurism wrongly in the name
of Islam——a policy which is nothing but his own reactionary
and medieval interpretation of religion.

Founded in 1965, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran -has grown to become the major opponent of the 0iomeini
regime. Oirecting the Resistance movement against Khomeini, the P.M.O.I.. has also concentrated on making the world
opinion conscious of the gross violations of civil and human rights in Iran. The statements released on a regular
basis by the Paris Office of the People's Mojahedin are today considered the most reliable and best documented -
reports on Iran's important day—to-day events available to the outside world. This newsletter is a collection of

          Denunciation of the
          Hence I have submitted a letter to Massoud Rajavi declaring my
          adherence to the People's Mojahedjn Organizati of Iran and the
          National Council of Resistance.
          B) Thanking the respected people and the Government of Norway for
          their support to the just cause of the people of Iran, I hereby seek
          political asylum and the necessary protection from them.
          C) I invite the representatives of the radio, television, newspapers
          and the news agencies of Norway and the rest of the world to a press
          conference which is held on Friday, 8th of October 1982 at 11:00 A.M.
          in Grand Hotel of Oslo in order to present the very important facts
          and proofs about this appalling regime.
          Honor to the martyrs.
