          Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday ___________
          that EU move to consider the triai of one or two European citizens
          in Iran as equal with trial of all Europeans is a kind of
          Capitulation
          Speaking in a news program he described the statement issued by some
          European rountries in this regard as illegal.
          Referring to the triol of a French woman in the court, Qoshgovi soid
          the woman had a 6—month srholarship to tearh French language in
          Isfahan University but she took part in the recent riots in Iran and
          sent some photos and news through her E—mail against his visa
          mandate.
          “According to the France judicial law Iran has the authority to
          investigate the case,” Qashgavi said.
          Criticizing the West treatment in adopting double standard poiicies,
          IRI spokesman said they disruss about democracy for a country in
          which 85 percent of people have participated in elections but in
          Honduras they support the miiitary forces who stoged a coup.
          Qasghgavui noted that the IRI foreign ministry was considering to
          balance relations with some western countries.
          In the same program, Head of Hational Security Commission of Majlis,
          Aiaoddin Boroujerdi said that the recent stance of the American
          Secretary of State over the riots in Iran showed that the country
          has no sufficient understanding of the Iranian society after 30
          years of victory of the Islamic Revolution.
