Eight "Rebels" Executed in Iran
TEHRAN—
Eight persons were executed In the Persian Gulf refinery town of Abadan on charges of armed rebellion, receiving guerrilla traning and sabotaging oil installations.
Five of those executed were believed to be members of Abadan’s ethnic Arab community.
Eleven persons were killed and 30 injured when antigovernment rebels and unidentified bombers struck In the Kurdish provinces and in the oil rich border region of Khuzestan.
